We are a Teachers Training Institution, dedicated to continuous professional development through our special tailored courses and Diploma programmes. EQUATION EDUCATORS TRAINING designs in-service training programmes tailored to meet the needs of schools. Professional development of teachers is essential to achieve and maintain standards of quality education. We recognize the significance of teacher development and feel it is an ongoing process.
Our programme objectives results in embedded change in practice, attitude and behavior in participants. Professional development is a key factor when it comes to enhancing the quality of teaching and learning.
We provide accredited certification for our participants. Educators from pre-school to high school level are trained in the procedures and methodology of the modern ethics of knowledge transmission. We design and conduct a range of continuous professional development programmes that incorporate action plans for implementation and monitoring. We expose the teachers to the highest level of professionalism attainable in teaching career.
EQUATION EDUCATORS employs custom-designed tools to evaluate current school performance, and introduce processes to accurately track progress on the school improvement journey.

School Principals, Managers and Administrators Training
Our School Managers and Administrators Training Programme aims to enable serving and potential school managers to have a better understanding of their roles and responsibilities as school managers, and of school operation and management skills.
A total of 13 courses of 3 Programmes, namely Programmes A, B (Parts 1 and 2) and C, are offered. Participants may enrol, free of charge, in the programme that best suits their training needs. Serving and potential school supervisors/managers are welcome to apply
The aims of the programme are two-folded: (i) to enable participants to have a better understanding of their roles and responsibilities as school managers under the spirit of school-based management; and (ii) to equip participants with the basic knowledge and skills essential in carrying out their responsibilities effectively as school managers within the Equation Educators Federation governance framework.
The aims of the programme are two-folded: (i) to enable participants to be more confident of leading the school from strength to strength under the spirit of school-based management; (ii) to broaden participants’ perspectives in assuming strategic leadership to take forward school development and understanding legal matters related to school governance so as to equip them to be more effective school managers.
The aims of the programme are three-folded: (i) to develop the school supervisors into effective leaders who understand more about the spirit and essence of participatory governance, as well as their roles and responsibilities as stated in the Education Ordinance, for maintaining quality IMC operation; (ii) to enable school supervisors to be more confident of leading the team of school managers, who are of six different categories and have diverse background; and (iii) to empower school supervisors to play the leadership role in the key aspects of school development; school management in compliance with the rules and regulations, as well as crisis management.
The target participants of the programme are serving or potential school managers of aided schools who are not working in the education-related fields or not familiar with education and school operation in Africa.
The target participants of the programme are serving or potential school managers of independent and public schools who are quite familiar with education and school operation in Africa or have completed Programme A.
The target participants of the programme are serving or potential school supervisors of aided private or public primary, secondary and special schools; priority will be given to the new supervisors (with less than two years’ service)
Principalship Course for Aspiring Principals (PCAP)
The Equation Educators Training Institution run the “Preparation for Principalship Course for Aspiring Principals” since 2012 in order to help aspiring principals (APs) to attain the “Certification for Principalship (CFP)”. Since 2014 schools in the Equation Educators Federation required APs to have attain the CFP, in addition to complying with the appointment conditions in force at the time, before they could be considered for appointment for principalship. To attain the CFP, APs must satisfy the following criteria within a two-year CFP process:
The Education Bureau has accredited Equation Educators Training Institution to deliver the PCAP Course in order to help participants to fulfil the second component of the CFP requirement.
The PCAP Course is also accepted as a management training course required for promotion to the post of deputy heads (i.e., Principal Graduate Master/Mistress in secondary schools/Senior Primary School Master/Mistress in primary schools).
